Fanciful Finds: Large Makeup Bag Pink Cupcakes

I love shopping on Etsy & have many, many things I want to buy on there. Sigh...This is one of them! The design is awesome & it is covered with plastic both on the inside and out so it's really easy to clean. Would love to store all my makeup in here for traveling. $23.99.

I have been looking for a brush that does just this- working the inner & outer corners of the eyes- & I think this may be it! $22

NYX Matte Liquid Lipstick

This collection consists of 11 shades, which are named after cities around the world. Now this is neither a lipstick nor a lipgloss but is more like a lipstick cream with a matte finish. They cost $6 each. I've already decided that I want to try: Tokyo, Istanbul & maybe Stockholm...

Neal's Yard Remedies Baby Balm

I don't know if it's because NYR has just not so long ago opened in Dubai or because I never pay any notice, but it's only just recently that I started noticing them. Bad attention on my part, you say. Anyhow when I did notice them (it was first in Dubai Mall) the first thing the sales assistant did was hand me a tester of their Baby Balm to try. It is wonderful... It's sooo buttery and creamy (so yes it is a tad greasy...but who cares), it smells divine and it had these little balls that melted on my skin. It contains olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter & beeswax. 100% organic ingredients too. Please try it out for yourselves already!

Quick Tip: Dark Elbows & Knees

Upon reading this little tip on The Beauty Bunny I jumped to post it here:

Make yourself a paste of 1 crushed Vitamin E caplet, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice & 1 tablespoon of milk. Rub in & leave on for around 15 minutes before washing off.

I think it's a lovely little tip we can all use & it's fairly easy to make.

Clovertree Apothecary Treatment Sprays

These treatment sprays- Acne defense & fruit enzyme- by Clovertree ($29) really caught my attention. Looks like I'll be wanting these.

Acne Defense Treatment Spray- this when sprayed directly on the face will cleanse, tone and soothe the skin.
Fruit Enzyme Treatment Spray- this when sprayed directly on the face will gently exfoliate and stimulate cell renewal.

Both sprays are made with 95% natural ingredients.

FarmHouse Sweet Cream Body Milk

Sweet cream body milk! Need I say more? I love their vintage style packaging. Back to the product... The body milk is loaded with avocado, rice brain oil & sweet almond & is sulphate & paraben free. Irresistible. On my wishlist. $26

My First Proper Eye Cream (Now That I'm 21)

Alright, I've turned 21 & I'm all over the place looking into eye cream products, to find something I'd like to start using religiously. I have always maintained that I wouldn't touch eye creams until 21, because, I saw it as something pretty pointless before then. When did you first start to use eye creams?

So, there are a number of contenders:

I'm iffy as to which one to choose though. We shall see.

Philosophy Hope in a Tinted Moisturizer

First they had Hope in a Jar (the cult favorite lightweight moisturizer) & now Hope in a Tinted Moisturizer. It comes in 8 shades ranging from extra light to dark & I like that it has a ''unique souffle texture.'' They've also added spf 20 & a blend of antioxidants to protect your skin from the environment. I can definitely see myself using this to simplify my morning makeup routine!

 Feeling the love? Purchase it here

Wishing & Wanting

After watching some DulceCandy87 videos on YouTube -this- & -this- it got me really excited for some new purchases. I have included links to products where I can.

Anastasia No. 7 Brush (...because Anastasia is the queen of brows)
Studio Secrets Anti Redness Face Primer. Or any other good anti redness product out there? I'm not really sold on the Studio Secrets.
NYX Eyebrow Shaper (it's waxy so it won't make my brows look all crispy. Yuck)
Loreal Intense Liquid Eyeliner

This has sort of just turned into another wishlist (I have far too many wishlists stashed into my wallet). On that note, I was thinking of adding a wishlist page to my blog, but I am still undecided.

What new purchases are you wanting to make? Let me know in the comments below!

Sigma Make Me Up Brush Kits

Ah, it's Sigma with their wonderful brushes. And, for the record, they've nailed it once again. The make me up brush kits are the colorful versions of their bestselling  Professional Brush Kit . What I like best about the kits  is that all the 12 brushes come in a matching container which can then be used as a brush holder. I think that's really great because then it makes it easy for traveling & storage. They are also aptly named too: make me classy, make me cool, make me blush & make me crazy. Neat.

The set includes:

Small angle brush {for use with gel or cream eyeliner}
Medium angled shading brush {for highlighting inner corners of the eyes}
Large shader brush {to apply color all over the eyelid}
Pencil brush {great for smudging pencil liner}
Large angled contour brush {for applying brush or contouring}
Large powder brush {for applying powder to the face or body}
Duo fibre brush {used to give an 'airbrushed' finish with liquid foundation}
Foundation brush {for applying liquid or cream foundation}
Concealer brush {for precise application in small areas}
Tapered blending brush {to apply and blend color on the crease}
Eye shading brush {ideal for building intense color on the eyelid}
Eyeliner brush {deliver a precise stroke to line the eyes}
BONUS travel size blending brush {to blend any harsh lines}

So they've included everything except a brush for the lips. Where did that go?

Oh & (in case it's not overly obvious by now..) the kits come in four swell colors: black, purple, pink & aqua. $99 each.

My take on the new Sigma Make Me Up collection?  Great value! If you are looking for a professional brush set then here's a really great place to start. It's cheaper than buying your brushes individually & the colors along with the container really make it appealing. Practical. Stylish. Convenient.

Fanciful Finds: Kate Spade Larabee Dot Cosmetic Pouch

This uber stylish cosmetic pouch by Kate Spade is totally rad! It comes in both black and red (I like the black) and has a woven gold lining on the inside. The vinyl material makes it extremely easy to wipe clean too. It's priced at $55.

Terax Original Crema Ultra Moisturizing Daily Conditioner

SheFinds says this is the holy grail of conditioners and it does have some very noteworthy reviews on Sephora. It comes in both a tube ($22) and pump bottle ($48). Maybe I'll be giving this a try?
